Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the ModelRoom Terms of Service or other agreement between you and ModelRoom governing your use of the Services (each, an “Agreement”). This Policy applies to your access to and use of the Services, including any Content you upload, submit, generate, edit, publish, distribute, or otherwise use through or in connection with the Services.
Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings given in the applicable Agreement.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, submit, generate, edit, publish, distribute, or otherwise use any Content through or in connection with the Services that:
- is illegal, fraudulent, false, misleading, deceptive, harmful, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, exploitative, hateful, discriminatory, violent, or otherwise unlawful;
- promotes, facilitates, or encourages illegal, harmful, or abusive activities, goods, services, or substances, including fraud, scams, self-harm, terrorism, extremist activity, human trafficking, drug use, weapons misuse, or other activities that may cause harm to any person, entity, or property;
- infringes, misappropriates, or violates any third-party rights, including intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, publicity, image, likeness, contractual, moral, or other proprietary or personal rights;
- includes or uses third-party product photos, logos, packaging, trademarks, trade dress, brand assets, client materials, creator content, copyrighted works, private materials, or confidential information without all rights, licenses, permissions, consents, and approvals required for your intended use;
- impersonates any person or entity, misuses a person’s identity, name, image, likeness, face, voice, persona, or other identifying attributes, or falsely suggests endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, approval, origin, or association;
- is deceptive or misleading in a commercial, advertising, ecommerce, marketplace, social media, political, civic, public-interest, or similar context, including fake testimonials, fake reviews, fake user-generated content, misleading before-and-after images, manipulated product results, misleading pricing or discount claims, unsupported claims, or misinformation;
- involves regulated or sensitive goods, services, industries, or claims in an unlawful, misleading, harmful, or unauthorized manner, including alcohol, tobacco, drugs, controlled substances, weapons, gambling, financial services, legal services, healthcare, medical products, adult products or services, or other age-restricted or regulated categories;
- exploits, harms, sexualizes, manipulates, or targets minors or vulnerable individuals, or uses their image, likeness, personal data, or other identifying attributes without all required rights and consents;
- includes sensitive personal information or information requiring special legal, regulatory, or security protections, including government identifiers, financial account information, health information, biometric data, or special category data, unless expressly permitted by ModelRoom in writing; or
- removes, obscures, tampers with, or fails to include any watermark, provenance signal, AI-generated content disclosure, sponsorship disclosure, advertising disclosure, or other notice required by ModelRoom, applicable law, platform rules, or third-party rights holders.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not, and may not allow or assist any third party to:
- use the Services in violation of applicable law, sanctions, export controls, third-party rights, platform rules, or contractual obligations;
- use the Services to engage in, facilitate, or promote fraud, scams, phishing, spam, deception, impersonation, harassment, abuse, or other harmful or unlawful activity;
- access, use, probe, scan, test, attack, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Services, ModelRoom’s systems, networks, accounts, data, security measures, or other users’ use of the Services without authorization;
- bypass, disable, manipulate, circumvent, or attempt to evade any safety filter, moderation system, rate limit, usage limit, content restriction, access control, technical protection, or plan limitation;
- use bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated means to access, copy, extract, harvest, monitor, or interact with the Services, except as expressly permitted by ModelRoom;
- create fake accounts, share account credentials outside the applicable plan limits, abuse trials, credits, referrals, promotions, discounts, or payment systems, or misrepresent your identity, eligibility, affiliation, or account usage;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Services, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- use the Services, their features, functionality, systems, models, prompts, or related data to build, train, improve, or compete with ModelRoom or another product or service, except with ModelRoom’s prior written consent;
- rent, lease, sell, sublicense, distribute, resell, or otherwise make the Services available to any third party without ModelRoom’s prior written consent;
- upload, transmit, or use malware, spyware, viruses, harmful code, or other materials intended to compromise, monitor, damage, or interfere with any system, device, account, or data;
- use the Services or Outputs as the sole basis for high-risk decisions involving legal rights, employment, credit, insurance, housing, education, healthcare, law enforcement, public benefits, physical safety, critical infrastructure, or similarly significant effects; or
- otherwise use the Services in a way that violates the Agreement, this Policy, applicable law, third-party rights, or any written instructions, restrictions, or documentation provided by ModelRoom.
3. Copyright and Intellectual Property
ModelRoom respects third-party intellectual property rights. If you believe Content available through the Services violates your rights, please contact us in accordance with our Copyright & IP Policy.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy. We do not have a general obligation to monitor the Services; however, we may review Content and activity on the Services to enforce this Policy and the Agreement, comply with applicable law, and maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the Services.
We may take action if we reasonably believe that any Content or use of the Services violates this Policy, the Agreement, applicable law, or third-party rights, or may create risk for ModelRoom, users, third parties, or the public. This may include removing or restricting Content, limiting or disabling features, suspending or terminating access to the Services, declining to process requests, or taking other appropriate steps. Violations of this Policy may also result in termination in accordance with the Agreement. You will not be entitled to any credit, refund, or other compensation for any interruption or restriction of the Services resulting from your violation of this Policy.
If you become aware that any Content or use of the Services may violate this Policy, the Agreement, applicable law, or third-party rights, you must promptly notify ModelRoom at [email protected].
5. Changes to Policy
We may make changes to this Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated Policy and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy. Unless we state otherwise, changes will take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means that you agree to the updated Policy.
